Queen Award for Startups is a business plan contest sponsored by Pasona Group Inc., aimed at supporting the growth of female entrepreneurs and startups. Mariko was awarded the highest achievable place after her final (online) presentation. Contestants were evaluated based on the service level and business potential of their business. It is a great encouragement for TPO to receive the award as our service is more relevant than ever during this challenging time society is facing. We strongly believe that our concierge service helps workers establish a healthier working environment and is strongly needed by Japan now and in the future. We will keep working to positively impact society and create the diverse workplace we envision.

Our events are highly popular such as our morning yoga events, black apron barista coffee brewing lessons, and mindfulness meditation sessions. At TPO diversity and inclusion are part of our core-values. We find it important to pay attention, discuss, and engage in conversation. This year, even with remote work in place, we came together and celebrated IWD. We shared our Each for Equal One Action, got inspired by the books and movies we have read and seen, and had fun striking the #EachforEqual pose. Unfortunately, the event “Mini WAW! in Osaka” of coming Friday has been postponed due to measures against the coronavirus epidemic. Our CEO Mariko Magnan was scheduled to be participating. We hope the situation will be under control soon, and look forward to participating in this event at a later date.
